Is responsible for day-to-day local IT support in the domain of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) Applications. Also lead implementations in order to ensure optimum business efficiency and effectiveness in the relevant functional areas.
Develop & enhance SAP FICO processes to ensure effective and optimal solution design, deployment and support of SAP solutions. Specifically in areas such as: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting (Strategic Spare Parts Depreciation Management), Cash & Bank (Electronic Bank Statement), General Ledger Accounting, Opex & Capex Controlling.
Integration management of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as HCM & Logistics (Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning & Plant Maintenance.)
Develop and support BPC- Business Planning & consolidation for Mesaieed Refinery Finance business processes by enabling and automating budgeting and forecasting related functionalities. Also support budget planning activities related with BPC.
Optimize & streamline month and year end closing Finance Activities which includes Plant Shutdown, reconciliation.
Responsible for SAP Project Systems module to mange project activities including Plant Turnaround and WBS structures.
Develop data models to assist business analytical requirements utilizing the latest data mining and ETL methodologies. Also design CDS views to publish factsheet on Fiori platform.
Is responsible for strategy initiatives implementation with related to SAP applications and propose changes to technology roadmaps.
Participate in planning and executing Disaster Recovery activity and test scenarios with respect to Functional areas such as SAP FICO and traditional Finance business processes.
Handle incident and problem management, and responsible for resolution and root cause analysis of SAP FICO applications issues within established SLA’s.
SAP Procurement Process:
Provide input during the procurement of SAP resources from a technical aspect whilst adhering to policies to ensure an uninterrupted delivery of quality goods and / or services in a cost effective manner.
Contribute towards the interpretation of the technical aspect during the procurement process with SAP service providers through the request for proposal developments or competition invitation documents, as required, in order to remain abreast with Mesaieed Refinery needs.
Collaborate with IT&T management in the search, initiation of contact and short listing process of SAP service providers from a technical standpoint in order to gain an in-depth understanding of their respective delivery capabilities.
SAP Systems Performance and Monitoring:
Plan and incorporate the processes of SAP activities onto current systems so as to ensure a seamless integration.
SAP Systems Integrity and Security:
Translate business requirements into SAP Security design keeping in mind the overall landscape, architecture and vision of the organization.
Understand and ensure the effectiveness of related controls at the database, operating system, and network to ensure integrity, availability, segregation of duties, restriction of sensitive data, and confidentiality of SAP systems and data.
Plan, execute and implement SAP systems and data integrity related activities in order to safeguard Mesaieed Refinery information and ensure high availability standards are preserved.
Plan, execute and implement Mesaieed Refinery SAP related governance, risk and compliance activities so as to ensure a full compliance by mandated policies and procedures.
